ELSE USE THIS RECOMMENDED EDITOR TO MAKE A REUSEABLE TEMPLATE
PRINT OUT THIS STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE FOR REFERENCE WHILE EDITING TEMPLATES
1. Choose an ID Card Template
select Start From Scratch for a new template ( most templates do not match what you want )
open One Of My Templates ( your previous templates show up here )
search for a starter templates by Name - Orientation - Industries
open One Of The Displayed Templates
2a. Start from Scratch
Choose Horizontal or Verticle Template Form
change New Card to the name for this card
2b. Using a Template
Horizontal or Verticle Template Form will be shown
change Template Name to your new name for this card
3. Use Bleed On
if using a printed border around your card to prevent any white space
Use Bleed Off if no border
if desired you can Use Safe Line on plain card
4. Explaining Placeholders
Placeholders are objects that function as containers for future content.
You can turn text, image, and barcode objects into placeholders by selecting them and then clicking "This Object Is a Placeholder".
Their role is to help you reuse the same template to create multiple cards with varying content (like different names or pictures).
4. Barcode Symbol
Inserts a resizable barcode image onto your card
You can edit the type of code (QrCode) for use to link social media.
5. CLICK ON FRONT or BACK CARD
Use the provided editor options to produce your card
6a. DownLoad template to save copy
( in downloads directory )
6b. UpLoad template previously downloaded
( in downloads directory )
WHEN FINISHED EDITING PRESS NEXT to Generate Printable What Will You Print on? Select Thermal PVC Card Printer - 1 Card A SPECIAL PDF FILE WILL BE SENT TO DOWNLOADS
COPY THIS FILE TO YOUR IMAGE POOL DIRECTORY
WHEN ASKED WHILE SHOPPING FOR THE FILE TO UPLOAD USE THIS PDF ( your named . bid ) EACH CARD WILL NEED A FILE - DO NOT DUPLICATE FILE NAMES
